Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing/procurement or related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and a clear understanding of cost structures and pricing.
• Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software.
• Solid knowledge of production timelines and factory processes.
• Excellent organizational, follow-up, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and related tools.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult catalogs to obtain prices and specifications.
• Maintain files of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries.
• Perform related clerical duties.
• Contact vendors for quotations and follow up on purchase orders.
• Plan weekly team communication for demand changes; expedite orders for on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with production and warehouse to prevent shortages or delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, pricing, delivery, responsiveness.
• Resolve issues involving damaged, incorrect, defective, or late shipments with suppliers.
• Coordinate with accounting to match invoices, POs, and receiving documents.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and identify purchasing efficiency opportunities.
• Data entry and processing; purchase order entry; RFQ submissions and confirmations.
