Voith US Inc. invites applications for The Head of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing, based in York, PA. You will lead the procurement organization, shape category strategies, and partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Project teams to drive value, mitigate risk, and ensure on‑time project delivery.

The role requires a strong track record in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and complex negotiations across industrial sourcing, with a focus on governance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field.
• 10+ years in procurement and supply chain roles.
• 5+ years leading procurement teams in industry.
• Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing and project-based manufacturing.
• Strong supplier negotiation and contract skills.
• ERP proficiency: SAP, Oracle, IFS or Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the procurement organization and governance.
• Develop strategic sourcing and category management strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance reviews.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term contracts.
• Provide procurement leadership for major capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with policies and risk management.
