• Develops specifications for supplies and equipment based on department needs.
• Assists departments in creating requisitions and orders; resolves order issues.
• Prepares bid specifications, issues bid requests, and reviews quotations.
• Resolves purchasing problems between department and vendor.
• Assists senior buyer or purchasing manager with negotiations and more technical purchases as requested.
