RBC Bearings Incorporated in Compton, CA, is seeking an Procurement Associate to support purchasing activities across manufacturing operations. You will review requisitions, identify vendors, and develop specifications to ensure timely, cost-effective supply of materials.
Responsibilities include bid preparation, quotation evaluation, and resolving issues between departments and suppliers, with potential involvement in negotiations for more technical purchases as requested.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works indoors within the office and manufacturing areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
