Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Category Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement for complex industrial projects. You will work with engineering, project management, manufacturing, and construction leadership to ensure timely material availability and cost efficiency across North America.

The role emphasizes ERP-driven purchasing, supplier relationship management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and field operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing/production/construction.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and commercial skills.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Epicor ERP to manage procurement activities (quotations, PO creation, shipment tracking, receiving updates, documentation).
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and local suppliers.
• Source materials to support project requirements and identify cost-savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, shop personnel, and field teams.
• Manage returns and credits with vendors, invoicing, and shop/field staff.
• Ensure material deliveries align with project schedules across teams.
