Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Category Purchasing Specialist to drive procurement for industrial refrigeration projects across North America. The role collaborates with engineering, project management, manufacturing, and construction leadership to ensure material availability and on-time procurement.

The position emphasizes supplier relationships, cost optimization, and adherence to project timelines, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing/production/construction.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and commercial skills.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
• Knowledge of SRM principles and supplier performance measurement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Epicor ERP experience is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships with vendors and project teams.

Responsabilidades

• Utilize Epicor ERP to manage procurement activities: vendor quotes, POs, shipment tracking, receiving updates, and documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and local suppliers.
• Source materials to meet project requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, shop personnel, and field teams.
• Manage returns and credits with vendors, invoicing, and shop/field staff.
• Act as liaison across project teams to align material deliveries with schedules.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Purchasing Manager.
