Job summary

Airswift is seeking a well-rounded Procurement professional in the Energy Infrastructure sector to manage the full procurement lifecycle—from requisition through purchase order issuance, supplier management, and final payment, based in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering, with strong contract management skills, solid knowledge of project procurement activities, and experience with MEP equipment procurement and supplier quality assurance.

Job description

We’re looking for a well-rounded Procurement professional for one of our clients in the Energy Infrastructure space who can manage the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition through purchase order issuance, supplier management, and final payment.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering.
• Strong expertise in contract management is required, including interpreting contractual terms, understanding liquidated damages clauses, and identifying key language that suppliers may include in proposals and agreements.
• Must have a solid understanding of project procurement activities and be able to support procurement efforts throughout all stages of a project.
• Experience with MEP equipment such as electrical power systems, transformers, and industrial equipment procurement is highly preferred. Supplier qualification and quality assurance experience within industrial environments is also important.
• Seeking someone with a proactive, results-driven attitude who takes ownership of their work, operates with urgency, and can efficiently drive tasks to completion while maintaining a positive and encouraging approach.
• Previous experience working in industrial sites environment is highly desirable, as opposed to a purely corporate procurement background.
• Intermediate+ Excel understanding is required.
