Saulsbury Industries in Odessa, TX is seeking an in-person Procurement role to actively manage commodity material procurement for projects. You will identify suppliers, solicit bids, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include partnering with Expeditors and Project Managers, onboarding suppliers, coordinating with technical staff on specs, and monitoring procurement KPIs. Local candidates preferred with construction experience valued.

Formación

• 1+ years purchasing/Office Admin experience in oil and gas, refining, or petrochemicals.
• Local candidates preferred; no relocation offered.
• Construction-related experience highly preferred.
• Experience with best practices in purchasing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal relations skills.
• Professional, ethical, team player willing to grow with company.
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously in shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsabilidades

• Procure commodity materials for Saulsbury projects by identifying suppliers, issuing inquiries, bidding, and purchasing orders.
• Support Expeditors and Project Managers to ensure on-schedule delivery aligned with field needs.
• Negotiate and execute supplier agreements and partnerships as directed.
• Identify potential suppliers and onboard them into the system after approval.
• Coordinate with technical staff on material and equipment specifications.
• Provide data support for KPI monitoring of procurement performance.
• Monitor supplier market trends and inform management of events affecting price and delivery.
• Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
