Job summary

DuPont Spectrum seeks a detail-oriented procurement specialist to maintain reliable supply chains for production materials and services. You will coordinate with suppliers, monitor open POs, expedite overdue orders, and support production and inventory planning.

Ideal candidates have an associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, and at least 1 year in purchasing or procurement. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is required; exposure to medical device manufacturing is

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of one year in purchasing, procurement, planning, or inventory control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in regulated or medical device manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain purchase orders for production materials, components, and services.
• Monitor open purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedite overdue orders and resolve shipping, receiving, and invoice discrepancies.
• Support production schedules by ensuring timely material availability.
• Assist with inventory management, including safety stock and replenishment.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Quality, Warehouse, and Production teams on issues.
• Support Engineering and R&D by sourcing prototype, development, and validation materials.
• Maintain purchasing, supplier, and material records in the ERP system.
• Create and update item master data, specs, and purchasing information.
• Support new product introductions by implementing new items and BOMs in ERP.
• Comply with SOPs, quality system requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
