Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking an energetic Purchasing Representative to join our Hutchins, TX manufacturing team. This role focuses on creating and processing purchase orders, engaging with suppliers to obtain pricing, and supporting daily purchasing operations, with duties that align to our growth and customer service goals.

We offer day‑1 benefits, a $1,000 new hire incentive, and a Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchasing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders for materials and supplies.
• Research, interview, and communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing and specifications.
• Provide routine administrative support to the purchasing team.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information.
• Follow established purchasing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Work under supervision to support daily purchasing operations.
