Responsibilities

• Draws up master schedule to set sequence and lead times.
• Translates orders into sequential production schedules.
• Plans and schedules workflow for press and operation.
• Confers with production and order entry to update order status.
• Coordinates with Sales to meet delivery requirements.
• Expedites orders to handle unforeseen conditions.
• Assesses schedule performance and recommends actions.
• Prepares reports as needed.

Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Scheduler to join the team in Hutchins TX!

Work Authorization:

To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

• Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation
• Translates orders into a sequential work schedule.
• Plans and schedules workflow for press and operation
• Confers with production and order entry staff to determine status of orders.
• Works closely with Sales/Client Care to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Expedites orders as agreed meet unforeseen conditions.
• Assesses schedule performance and advises the team on status and preventive/corrective actions required.
• Prepares reports as needed.

Your Shift:

7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to work with multiple systems and create tools via excel or access
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedules May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
