The role involves supplier sourcing, quote evaluation, price/term negotiation, and ensuring timely orders while collaborating cross-functionally with operations, finance, inventory control, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain or related field.
• Experience with procurement processes and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and data-analysis abilities.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for purchasing and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain procurement records and ERP/MRP data accurately.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and quality to ensure supply continuity.
• Review inventory and production plans to determine purchasing needs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and address quality or delivery issues.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies and regulations.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and sourcing strategies.
• Assist in process improvements to improve lead times and accuracy.
• Provide purchasing support for projects and new product introductions.
