Job summary

Kforce Inc in Houston, TX is seeking a Procurement Specialist II to lead Coupa and related procurement technologies, driving adoption and optimization across the procure-to-pay lifecycle.

You will design, configure, test, and deploy scalable digital solutions that improve compliance, efficiency, and user adoption while supporting Supply Chain objectives. This role emphasizes analytics, data governance, and automation to reduce manual effort and enable better decision‑making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
• 2–4 years of procurement, supply chain, or procurement systems experience.
• Strong expertise with Coupa; SAP S/4HANA and/or Ariba preferred.
• Deep understanding of S2P and P2P processes.
• Experience with business analysis, process mapping, solution design, testing, documentation, and root‑cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Coupa, SAP (S/4HANA or Ariba), PMP, Agile, Scrum, or Product Management certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of digital procurement platforms
• Enable efficient and compliant end-to-end P2P processes, including guided buying, requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, receiving, invoicing, and supplier enablement

• Identify and implement automation and digitization opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve compliance, and enhance user experience
• Analyze procurement, supplier, adoption, and system‑performance data to drive process improvements and informed decision‑making

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Specialist II in Houston, TX. Summary: The Procurement Specialist serves as the functional SME for digital procurement platforms, primarily Coupa, supporting adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement across the procure-to-pay (P2P) lifecycle. This role provides hands‑on expertise in procurement technology, process enablement, automation, data governance, analytics, and AI‑driven solutions. The individual will help design, configure, test, and deploy scalable digital solutions that improve compliance, efficiency, and user adoption while supporting Supply Chain objectives.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
