You will serve as a functional SME, solution owner, and trusted advisor, aligning procurement platforms with business needs, driving automation, and enhancing compliance and user experience.

Procurement Specialist II:On behalf of our Supply Chain client, Procom is searching for a Procurement Specialist II for a contractrole. This position is onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.Procurement Specialist II - Job Description:The Procurement Specialist II will provide technical and hands-on expertise for the digital enablement of the Supply Chain, focusing on the adoption and optimization of digital procurement platforms. The role involves supporting platforms like Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, and Ariba across the procure-to-pay lifecycle, acting as a functional SME, solution owner, and trusted advisor.Procurement Specialist II - Responsibilities:• Configuration expertise and continuous-improvement support for digital procurement systems, including Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, and Ariba, to enable efficient and compliant end-to-end P2P processes.• Functional support and platform subject-matter expert for procurement technologies, supporting solution design, system administration, master data integrity, user access, integrations, and platform governance.• Identifies, designs, and implements process automation and digitization opportunities that reduce manual effort, strengthen compliance, improve the user experience, and embed preventive or detective controls into buying processes.Procurement Specialist II - Mandatory Skills:• Coupa SME.• Deep functional understanding of source-to-pay and P2P processes.• Strong business analysis, process-mapping, solution-design, root-cause analysis, testing, documentation, and change-enablement skills.• Strong data literacy and ability to interpret process, spend, supplier, adoption, and system-performance data.• Strong organizational and time management skills.• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple procurement activities.Procurement Specialist II – Nice-to-Have Skills:• SAP S/4HANA or Ariba certification.• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.• Agile or Scrum certification.• Product-management certification.Procurement Specialist II – Assignment Length:This is a contract position.Procurement Specialist II - Start Date:ASAP.Procurement Specialist II - Assignment Location:Houston, Texas, onsite.This posting is for an existing vacancy.Procom provides Basic Life/AD&D insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, and EAP at no cost to eligible employees after a waiting period.
