Job summary

Specialized Fabrication Equipment Group LLC in Newberg, OR is seeking a Procurement Specialist I to generate and track purchase orders, monitor orders from submission to receipt, and liaise with suppliers and internal customers. The role supports the procurement team and offers growth within the procurement function.

The position requires 1–3 years of procurement experience, familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, and related manufacturing purchasing expertise; CPIM/APICS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of verifiable procurement or purchasing experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and basic procurement functions.
• Directly related purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CPIM or APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate and track purchase orders in accordance with policies.
• Monitor orders from submission to receipt and communicate with stakeholders.
• Maintain purchase order records and related documentation.
• Track on-time deliveries and ensure price and quality standards.
• Coordinate efficient distribution of parts and commodities.
• Resolve invoicing issues with Accounting and Receiving.
