Job summary

A leading engineering systems company in Sparks, NV is seeking a Buyer responsible for procurement solutions to support project needs. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating with vendors, maintaining vendor relationships, and requiring strong data entry skills. Essential duties include issuing POs and managing supplier interactions to achieve competitive pricing. This is an exempt position with a competitive salary range of $52,200 to $64,800 based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a related position or industry.
• Working knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment preferred.
• Ability to organize large amounts of information with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for issuing subcontracts, equipment POs, and material POs.
• Negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Maintain authorized vendor lists and understand vendor offerings.
