Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in purchasing/expediting in a custom engineered manufacturing organization.
• Understanding of general manufacturing practices, policies, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure quality and schedules are met.
• Develop and monitor supplier recovery plans for quality issues.
• Communicate risks and changes of supplier orders to TAS personnel.
• Solicit and review supplier quotations.
• Support the prequalification process for potential suppliers.
• Reconcile BOMs to planned orders and POs.
• Maintain good relations with supplier personnel.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies by comparing orders to delivery documentation.
