Dart Container is seeking a Purchasing Specialist in Mason, MI to support procurement across the organization. You’ll manage purchases, supplier relationships, and invoice processing while using SAP in a hybrid work setting with in-office days Tue–Thu and remote Mondays and Fridays.

The role offers exposure to procurement, supplier management, and finance processes in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in pursuing a career in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong communicator and proactive problem solver.
• Willing to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing materials, supplies, services, and MRO items.
• Creating and managing purchase orders.
• Monitoring supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Working with vendors and internal stakeholders from request through delivery.
• Tracking orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Processing and reconciling invoices.
• Supporting vendor setup and maintenance.
• Managing warranty claims and returned products.
• Reconciling purchasing card transactions.
• Utilizing SAP and procurement systems to support purchasing decisions.
