Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking a Buyer for our Panorama City, Los Angeles, CA location. This onsite role handles daily purchasing tasks, supplier coordination, and reporting under supervision.

Responsibilities include vendor file maintenance, negotiation of terms, just-in-time delivery strategies, and internal communications to support Planning and Accounting. The position emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and professional vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in regulated environments is preferred.
• Ability to manage vendor files and supplier relationships.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic reporting.

Responsabilités

• Purchases raw material, components, office supplies, equipment and services.
• Creates and maintains vendor files.
• Negotiates rates, delivery schedules and financial terms.
• Develops purchasing strategies to ensure just-in-time delivery.
• Tracks purchase orders/requests.
• Coordinates and communicates delivery schedules to internal customers.
• Obtains and distributes CofAs from vendors.
• Responds to routine purchasing policy inquiries from staff.
• Prepares and distributes management reports.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
