Job summary

Flatiron Construction Corp. is seeking a Procurement Agent in Indianapolis, IN to source materials and contractors for Advanced Technology projects including Data Center markets.

You will qualify vendors, enforce policies, and maintain procurement analytics to support timely, on-budget project execution. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Construction Management (preferred) and 1+ year construction experience.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Construction Management preferred.
  • 1+ year construction experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with database tools.
  • JD Edwards E1 World experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Qualifies and evaluates vendors of materials, subcontractors, and service providers for recommendation to the Procurement Manager or others for use on projects.
  • Communicates and enforces procurement policies and procedures to the district and project teams.
  • Collects and maintains procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
  • Maintains the records of goods ordered and received; supports Accounts Payable reconciliation.
  • Helps in the creation and negotiation of contracts under the supervision and guidance of a procurement manager.
