Job summary

Responsibilities include selecting vendors, resolving invoicing or delivery issues, and supporting day-to-day procurement activities within the department.

Requirements: High School Diploma/GED; 0–6 months related purchasing experience.

• Purchasing or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Select vendors based on ability to provide a continuous supply, overall service level, and market conditions.
• Maintain relationships with vendors by resolving invoicing, product, or delivery issues.
• Negotiate prices and quantities ordered based on customer orders and market conditions.
• Negotiate long-term contracts to ensure ongoing supply.
• Support distribution centers for emergencies with product and delivery on an expedient basis.
• Provide product and pricing information to sales and advise on pricing structure.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
