Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement Department and support data center development by processing contracts, POs, and vendor onboarding. You will work cross-functionally with AP, Legal, Facilities, and Tax to ensure compliance and timely procurement.

Duties include reviewing contracts and change orders, managing the Pcard program, and coordinating with multiple departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience as Contract/Procurement Administrator preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Hands-on, self-starter with disciplined, detail-oriented approach
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Review independent contractor's agreements, purchase orders, and change orders for accuracy and completeness
• Review lien waivers and coordinate with contractors and vendors to meet company standards
• Manage the Purchasing Card (Pcard) program and monthly accounting
• Identify issues and guide CoreSite Managers to ensure timely contractor payments and procurement
• Coordinate with Accounting, AP, Legal, Facilities and Construction to resolve contract/purchase-order issues
• Validate and process purchase orders in the system promptly
• Enter procured service/material information and taxes into the PO system
• Onboard new vendors, request W-9s, gather vendor info and conduct background checks
• Verify COI documents meet requirements before vendors perform services
• Collaborate with Tax Manager and AP to ensure proper tax handling on contracts/POs
• Identify Supplier Diversity designations and support diversity initiatives
• Support procurement for indirect spend (HR, marketing, office supplies)
• Facilitate vendor score cards and analyze performance trends for reviews
• Handle special projects as assigned
