ITS Logistics in Sparks, NV seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships, procure supplies, and ensure timely delivery across multiple Distribution Services campuses. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing the procurement of supplies, materials, and equipment, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods required to support multiple Distribution Services campuses. This role serves as the primary liaison between ITS, vendors, and internal stakeholders, fostering strong supplier partnerships while driving cost‑effective purchasing decisions and maintaining service continuity.
The Procurement Specialist will initiate, place, and track purchase orders again, monitor supplier performance, resolve procurement issues, negotiate with vendors when appropriate, and collaborate closely with Operations to minimize disruptions to warehouse activities. The successful candidate will also develop and maintain standardized purchasing practices and vendor management processes to ensure consistency and operational excellence across campuses.
