Ardelle Associates seeks a procurement technician for the USAO, Eastern Michigan District to support contract actions, data entry, and invoicing within the acquisitions workflow. Position requires basic admin duties, reporting, and vendor communications.
Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of admin experience. Proficiency in MS Office and ability to pass a background check are essential.
The USAO, District of Eastern Michigan has a requirement for one (1) full-time procurement technician, or equivalent,, or equivalent, to perform administrative functions associated with drafting and completing various procurement transaction forms, reviewing and keying invoices and account information into various data systems. The Contractor shall assist in any requirements under the acquisitions umbrella that is appropriate for their labor category. The contractor shall NOT perform work that in the opinion of the Government is an inherently governmental function pursuant to FAR 7.503. Inherently governmental functions include, but are not limited to, the scoring and ranking of proposals, determining the content of proposal evaluation reports, or the final approval/signature of any official procurement documents. Note that the Contracting Officer (CO) shall review all new requests or modifications prepared by Procurement technician, or equivalent, before any action is finalized and shall be the only authorize individual who is authorized to obligate Government funds.
