Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead vendor and supplier sourcing strategies from a hybrid San Francisco-based office. This role is an individual contributor with a path to people leadership and will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to negotiate contracts and shape procurement programs.

You will analyze spend, build dashboards in Tableau and Excel, and drive category strategies across direct and indirect procurement while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in supplier/vendor procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Experience leading end-to-end contract negotiations with third parties.
• Experience managing at least $10 million in annual spend.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP processes with stakeholders for vendors/suppliers.
• Analyze supplier quotes and perform cost/TCO analyses with data-backed recommendations.
• Develop global sourcing strategies across direct and indirect categories.
• Perform spend analysis by vendor, category and region to identify trends.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting using Tableau and Excel.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement goals.
• Assist in supplier engagement, competitive bidding, and contract negotiations.
• Support contract management and supplier compliance with legal partners.
