Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement is seeking an Associate, Procurement & Sourcing to join our US PEPI practice. You will work with private equity teams to design and implement strategic sourcing and procurement improvements across portfolio companies.

We value 2–4+ years of consulting or industry experience, a strong track record in supplier identification, negotiations, and end-to-end procurement strategies, and willingness to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of consulting or industry experience.
• Experience with advisory from a top-tier strategy firm or Big-4 required.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project work streams for complex client engagements.
• Collaborate with Private Equity teams to identify, design, and implement procurement improvements.
• Develop and manage sourcing strategies aligned with growth and financial objectives.
• Lead supplier identification, approval, and contract negotiations.
• Create implementation plans to drive changes in procurement and sourcing.
• Conduct analysis based on project scope.
