Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an Associate in Private Equity Performance Improvement to lead and deliver procurement and sourcing workstreams for portfolio companies. You will gain a deep understanding of client procurement organizations and develop strategic sourcing capabilities, while collaborating with PE teams to design and implement creative procurement solutions.

The role requires 2-4+ years in consulting or industry, with a preference for top-tier advisory experience.

Qualifications

• 2-4 plus years of consulting or industry experience.
• Preference for top-tier strategy firm or Big-4 advisory background.
• Experience in sourcing or procurement functions is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver project work streams for complex client engagements with Private Equity teams.
• Conduct analysis and execute with team members to deliver results.
• Understand client’s procurement organization and strategic sourcing capabilities.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with growth and financial objectives.
• Lead supplier identification, negotiations, and vendor relations; drive procurement changes.
