Job summary

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking a Purchaser / Scheduler / Project Coordinator to support procurement, production scheduling, and project coordination across our Mission Engineering Division and corporate operations.

The ideal candidate has government contracting procurement experience and will help implement AS9100 purchasing processes, manage supplier relationships, and keep schedules on track for engineering, fabrication, and government contracting projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience supporting government contracting or DoD programs.
• Experience managing POs, vendor quotes, invoices, receiving docs, and procurement records.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and procurement documentation requirements.
• Ability to coordinate multiple purchasing requirements, production schedules, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establish, document, and maintain purchasing procedures aligned with AS9100 and company policies.
• Process purchase requests and POs for government programs and engineering projects.
• Source and procure materials, components, tools, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate with Program Managers, engineering, Operations, and Contracts to identify requirements, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor quotations; document supplier evaluations and selections.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to support timely project execution.
• Track POs, shipments, backorders, and vendor performance to prevent delays.
• Coordinate outside machining, fabrication, and specialty services as required.
• Maintain purchasing records, vendor info, approvals, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance to reconcile POs, receiving docs, invoices, and payments.
