Aston Carter seeks a Senior Procurement Analyst to drive procurement, forecasting, and inventory optimization in a manufacturing-focused supply chain. You will liaise with Finance, Sales, Operations, and senior leadership to forecast accurately, optimize inventory, and manage supplier relationships.

The role requires end-to-end procurement experience, strong data analysis, and proactive decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong forecasting and demand planning experience, including hands-on involvement in S&OP processes and monthly forecast management.
• End-to-end procurement experience, including vendor management, purchase order processing, expediting, and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting, analysis, forecasting, pivot tables, lookups, and trend analysis.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for procurement, planning, and inventory control.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and provide actionable recommendations that support operational and financial objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory optimization and vendor relationship management.
• Experience creating and reporting on KPIs and performance metrics to leadership and Finance.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities related to procurement, inventory, and cost savings initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of quantifying cost savings, procurement improvements, or inventory reductions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the monthly S&OP process to align demand, supply, and financial objectives.
• Analyze historical sales data, demand drivers, market trends, and forecast accuracy to improve planning and decision making.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance to adjust forecasts based on changing conditions and insights.
• Upload, maintain, and refine monthly demand forecasts within planning systems.
• Manage procurement activities for assigned commodities and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective material availability.
• Create, process, and expedit e purchase orders, monitoring status and resolving delays.
• Monitor supplier performance and support vendor relationship management initiatives.
• Resolve material availability issues and support inventory planning to prevent stockouts.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Analyze procurement, inventory, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Generate reports and KPIs for leadership and Finance to support monitoring and analysis.
• Review ERP/MRP/DRP outputs to guide purchasing decisions.
• Identify process gaps and recommend system/workflow improvements.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve cost, quality, and service levels.
• Lead projects with ownership and provide cross-team support as needed.
• Quantify and communicate cost savings and inventory reductions from initiatives.
