Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a procurement professional to source and negotiate for machinery, equipment, raw materials, and services needed for operations. The role involves analyzing price trends, supplier performance, and ensuring timely deliveries within cost and quality targets.

Responsibilities include preparing RFPs, negotiating terms, and maintaining supplier records while leveraging LM acquisition procedures (LMAP) and familiarizing with FAR/DFARs.

Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Monitors performance of suppliers. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluates areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions. Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records. Basic Qualifications

• Procurement or Acquisition Experience
• Ability to conduct data analysis or research and/or understanding of negotiations
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentations)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Power Point, Word, Excel)

• Working knowledge of standard US Department of Defense contract types

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $53900.00 - $100100.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
