Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontract Program Manager to lead teams overseeing subcontracted systems across programs, ensuring compliance with contracts and policies.

You will direct all cost, quality, schedule, and technical performance for subcontractors, and develop strategic sourcing plans while coordinating with the program management office. This role requires leadership across engineering, quality, and procurement and a focus on milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management or procurement related field.
• Experience with FAR or DFAR requirements and regulations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP systems and processes.
• Formal or informal leadership experience.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor teams and oversee subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs.
• Direct and manage costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance for suppliers.
• Develop sourcing and subcontract program management strategies addressing program capture, execution, and risk.
• Serve as main focal point to subcontractor and program management office.
• Lead phases of subcontract from business case to closeout, including make/buy and proposal activities.
• Establish milestones to ensure performance aligns with schedules and specifications.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, quality, and procurement to ensure subcontract delivery.

Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs, execution, and risk management. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. Makes informed decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads a cross-functional team, normally composed of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel, to ensure successful subcontract execution and program delivery.

Basic Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
