Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is constructing a semiconductor manufacturing plant in New Albany, Ohio. The Procurement Planner leads integrated procurement, engineering-to-procurement, materials management, and logistics planning to support engineering, fabrication, and construction execution.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Contracts, Materials Management, Construction, and Client teams to align requisition releases and purchase orders with site needs, ensuring milestone dates are met

Qualifications

Requires bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
Or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.
Primavera P6 scheduling expertise.
Knowledge of DSCS and Map tools.
Strong understanding of CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed procurement, engineering-to-procurement, and materials delivery schedules using Primavera P6.
Integrate requisition, purchase order, fabrication, inspection, delivery, and site-receipt activities into the project schedule.
Develop procurement plans and delivery sequences by commodity and equipment.
Establish logic ties between engineering deliverable release and project dates.
Support Level 3 and Level 4 schedules and CPM analyses.
Prepare and distribute weekly procurement progress reports, material status dashboards, milestone analyses, and 3-week/90-day look-ahead schedules.
