Job summary

DART is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on vendor setup, payment coordination, and ensuring documentation accuracy across procurement cycles.

The position requires strong knowledge of procurement processes, attention to detail, and ability to liaise with Accounts Payable and internal departments to maintain compliant vendor data and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Four years of procurement, purchasing, finance, vendor management, or accounts payable experience in governmental or corporate environment.
• Proficient with procurement and financial software systems including ERP and vendor management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes internal vendor setup and update requests with AP to validate vendor information.
• Serves as liaison between Procurement and AP to resolve vendor data discrepancies and banking updates.
• Contacts vendors to confirm contract, registration, and payment-related details.
• Provides user assistance for the DART Supplier Portal and supports vendors during registration.
• Educates vendors on procurement policies and documentation to facilitate purchasing and payment.
