Job summary

The Sage Group, supporting a leading AI company in the Bay Area, seeks a Growth Design Reviewer to manage procurement end-to-end. You will oversee purchase requests, change orders, and contract amendments, ensuring on-time execution and clean data for finance tracking.

Strong vendor relationships and proactive communication are essential. Ideal candidates bring experience in high-volume operations, SOW drafting, and escalation when approvals stall, with a sharp eye for detail and process

Qualifications

• Experience handling procurement workflows from requisition to payment.
• Ability to draft and shepherd SOWs and contract amendments.
• Strong vendor relationships and timely communications are essential.

Responsibilities

• File and manage purchase requests and change orders in the procure-to-pay system.
• Draft statements of work and contract amendments from templates and shepherd them through the workflow.
• Chase approvals and signatures, escalating when a request stalls.
• Reconcile POs against contracts line-by-line and verify expense details.
• Track POs in real time and run blockers reviews to resolve issues.
• Provide data feed for monthly finance spend tracking.
• Partner with communications, accounting, procurement operations, legal, and finance teams.
• Build strong vendor relationships and serve as primary procurement contact.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with teammates and vendors.
• Navigate difficult vendor conversations with tact and good judgment.
• Ramp up quickly on new tools and evolving processes.
• Maintain meticulous, line-item level accuracy in contracts and invoices.
• Demonstrate proactive follow-through and escalation as needed.
• Work as a true partner to teammates, communicating proactively.
