Job summary

TALENT Software Services in San Jose, California, is seeking a Procurement Associate to join Procurement Operations to support transactional and operational procurement capabilities, with a focus on Direct procurement.

You will work on ensuring a policy-led process, improving user and supplier experience, and collaborating with global procurement colleagues to deliver compliant and efficient service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience in Procurement.
• Graduate degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in a Finance, Business, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA, SAP, Microsoft Suite Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and BI tools).
• Role and activities would suit someone with excellent understanding of Purchase Orders and P2P processes, and familiar or having directly performed AP processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement helpdesk service to optimally handle and respond to inbound issues or support requests through to resolution.
• Enable transactional purchases and business process tasks in line with agreed service levels and promote preferred buying channels through to pay.
• Collaborate with geographically distributed business user teams, and work with technical support teams to resolve technical issues and problems.
• Enable supplier registration process and tasks by proactively coordinating end-to-end, maintain supplier records, and related documentation as current.
• Act to validate purchase requisitions for accuracy, completion, required approvals and compliance with policy.
• Support data preparation, analysis, and monitoring of metrics to help observe process performance and health, and participate in feedback forums, and insight-led improvements.
• Document and maintain SOPs, process documents, and support communication channels, and content management.

Graduate degree, or equivalent experience, preferably in a Finance, Business, or related field
