Horizontal Talent is seeking a Procurement Operations professional to join a dynamic team in the San Jose area. You will support internal customers and suppliers, drive process improvements, and help keep purchasing activities running smoothly.

The role emphasizes hands‑on procurement experience, problem‑solving, and collaboration with cross‑functional partners to uphold service levels and accuracy. A strong focus on data, documentation, and continuous improvement is required.

Formación

• 3–5 years of procurement or related operations experience.
• Graduate degree or equivalent in finance, business, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and BI tools.
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative, service‑oriented mindset.

Join a dynamic Procurement Operations team where you’ll help keep purchasing processes running smoothly, support internal customers and suppliers, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role is a great opportunity for someone with hands‑on procurement experience who enjoys problem‑solving, cross‑functional collaboration, and process excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive helpdesk support for procurement-related questions, issues, and service requests through resolution.
• Support transactional purchasing activities and related business process tasks while following established service levels and preferred buying channels.
• Work closely with distributed business teams and technical partners to troubleshoot and resolve operational or system‑related issues.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and registration activities, while maintaining accurate supplier records and documentation.
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, approvals, and policy compliance before processing.
• Assist with data preparation, reporting, and metrics tracking to monitor process health and identify improvement opportunities.
• Help maintain SOPs, process documentation, communications, and content resources that support the team’s day‑to‑day operations.

Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or a related procurement operations environment.
• Graduate degree or equivalent experience, ideally in finance, business, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and BI tools.
• Strong understanding of purchase orders and procure‑to‑pay processes.
• Familiarity with accounts payable processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, service‑oriented approach.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting procure‑to‑pay activities in a technology company.
• Experience contributing to procurement process improvements or operational enhancements.
• Ability to work effectively across teams and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
