Job summary

Wing is looking for a Purchasing Operations Manager in a hybrid role based in Palo Alto, CA. You will own end-to-end procurement workflows—from vendor onboarding and PO validation to ad hoc payment resolutions and P2P governance projects—with emphasis on compliance and process automation across SAP, Ariba, and Embark.

Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sourcing and Alphabet’s Procure-to-Pay teams to maintain vendor health metrics and drive governance improvements.

Qualifications

8+ years in Procurement Operations, P2P, Accounting, or Supply Chain in fast-paced or tech environment.
Hands-on proficiency with enterprise P2P platforms, specifically SAP and Ariba (including Embark or similar vendor enrollment tools).
Demonstrated expertise in PO validations, vendor credit memos, prepaid account schedules, and foreign vendor tax documentation.

Responsibilities

Onboard new vendors in compliance with onboarding policies and payment terms.
Coordinate cross-border vendor setups in Ariba and Embark, ensuring tax documentation and audit readiness.
Validate all Purchase Orders for completeness, accurate coding, and contract alignment before releasing to vendors.
Apply 3-way invoice matching and work with Ariba/Finance to manage credit memos and vendor balances.
Act as primary contact for procurement escalations, off-cycle payments, and Proof of Payments.
