Job summary

The Mayor's Office of Contract Services (MOCS) is NYC's procurement oversight agency, managing citywide contracts and PASSPort. The Research Projects Coordinator supports compliance, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to improve procurement processes.

As part of the Procurement Operations Division, you will review complex submissions, assist with solicitations, and help implement system releases for PASSPort. Veterans are encouraged to apply, with accommodations available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college with a baccalaureate degree; or
• Two years of experience with administrative, analytic, coordinative, supervisory or liaison responsibilities (associated options).
• A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent plus four years of experience as described in above.
• A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess complex procurement submissions for compliance with City Charter, PPB rules, and agency policies.
• Assist with solicitation development, document drafting, copyediting, and system configuration; pre- and post-solicitation review.
• Support PASSPort design, system releases, and engagement with end users for feedback and testing.
• Act as a liaison to provide customer assistance and guide procurement staff in timely actions.
• Develop tools, guides, templates, and resources to facilitate citywide procurement and change management.
• Participate in cross-division projects and special reports to improve operations.
