Job summary
The Judge Group is seeking a Buyer II for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Loudon, TN. You will ensure materials are sourced and delivered on time, analyze demand, and manage POs to support production schedules.
With 2+ years of procurement experience, you will leverage MRP/ERP systems to optimize planning data, negotiate with suppliers, and drive continuous improvement in delivery performance. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
- 2+ years of procurement/purchasing experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP processes and procurement best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Order, confirm, and deliver materials on time to meet schedules.
- Interpret planning data using MRP tools to optimize procurement decisions.
- Manage POs, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain data integrity in MRP and planning parameters.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and R&D to resolve supplier issues.
- Negotiate with suppliers to optimize price, quality, delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate supply disruptions to Purchasing Supervisor.
