Job summary

The Judge Group seeks an experienced Buyer in Broomall, PA to support procurement and supplier relationships for a growing manufacturing organization. You will source materials, obtain quotes, and manage purchasing activities to drive cost savings and process improvements.

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with Operations and Finance to meet business needs. A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred, with comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Description

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support procurement and supply chain activities for a growing manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for sourcing materials and services, managing supplier relationships, supporting operational requirements, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, supplies, and services to support business operations.


• Manage supplier relationships and support vendor performance initiatives.


• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, and support sourcing decisions.


• Monitor inventory, purchasing activity, and market trends.


• Analyze purchasing and supplier data to support decision-making.


• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and other internal teams to ensure business needs are met.


• Support continuous improvement efforts and the development of procurement processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills .


• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Bachelor's degree in Business , Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
