Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of procurement/purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and issue RFQs and purchase orders, conduct price comparisons and negotiations to achieve lowest cost for direct/indirect purchases.
• Maintain optimal supply and inventory levels to support production operations.
• Develop and modify purchasing procedures to drive continual improvement.
• Monitor department metrics and KPI data to improve supplier pricing, quality, delivery, and material availability.
• Collaborate with supplier quality assurance to improve supplier performance.
• Support accounts payable and resolve invoice/payment issues.
• Coach, mentor, and train the Purchasing team.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers.
