Job summary

ROXBOX is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing operations for modular construction projects. You will develop procurement strategies, negotiate vendor agreements, and ensure materials arrive on time by collaborating with Design, Estimating, Production, and Receiving.

Responsibilities include planning needs with Estimating, defining vendor relations, improving SOPs, tracking purchases, and coaching the Receiving team on procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Construction, manufacturing, or related industry experience required.
• Experience negotiating vendor contracts and pricing.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Order materials, equipment and supplies for shop, office, and all active projects.
• Plan procurement needs alongside Estimating and Production, on Google Sheets.
• Define, evaluate, and refine preferred vendor relationships.
• Develop and improve procurement SOPs and purchasing workflows.
• Track purchases, deliveries, and procurement lists on shared Google Sheets.
• Oversee Receiving team to ensure proper documentation and storage.
• Train Receiving team on procurement SOPs and filing systems.
• Cross-reference design drawings against BOMs for accuracy before procurement.
• Review completed projects with Estimating to reconcile material costs.
• Manage vendor returns and refunds promptly.
• Create weekly purchasing expense forecasts and adjust per timelines.
