Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Procurement Manager III to join their team. As a Procurement Manager III, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier contracting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and excellent relationship-building abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Procurement Manager III
Location: Meridian, ID
Pay Range: $60 an hour
Lead end-to-end supplier negotiations and contracting processes, incorporating cost savings targets and sourcing strategies
Drive complex RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) events, including preparation, execution, evaluation, and supplier selection
Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to business needs and enterprise goals
Coordinate drafting, analysis, and execution of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and business requirements
Monitor supplier performance against contractual agreements and address gaps to ensure optimal outcomes
7+ years of supply chain experience at a Procurement Manager III level
Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier contracting within healthcare or health insurance industries
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2 years of relevant experience = 1 year of college)
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills
