Job summary

The South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department is seeking a Procurement Specialist to coordinate statewide procurement, review purchase orders, and ensure compliance with the SC Consolidated Procurement Code. You will consult with managers and field staff to procure goods and services.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years in procurement (or an associate with 4+ years, or a high school diploma with 6+ years).

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and 2+ years in procurement and contracts.
• Experience with SC Procurement Code is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating statewide procurement functions per SC laws.
• Consult with managers and field staff on goods and services.
• Review shopping carts, create PO, and process changes.
• Assist with solicitation requests and bid processes.
• Provide support and training to agency staff.
