Job summary

SCDNR is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support staff on all procurement issues and ensure compliance with the SC Consolidated Code, regulations, and agency policies. You will handle complex procurement activities, develop quotes and PO’s, and manage contracts with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of procurement experience, with working knowledge of SCEIS and CPPB/CPPO certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of procurement experience.
• Solid knowledge of the SC Consolidated Procurement Code and Regulations.
• Experience with SCEIS; CPPB/CPPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct procurement activities in accordance with the SC Consolidated Procurement Code, regulations, and agency policies.
• Review shopping carts for accuracy and determine appropriate procurement method.
• Develop, review, and issue quotes and purchase orders for goods and services.
• Conduct solicitations and contract management duties and coordinate with existing state contracts.
• Support agency staff through all phases of the procurement and solicitation process; ensure contract compliance.
