Qualifications

• One year purchasing or related experience required.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in business, finance, marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Center purchasing through planning and budget control.
• Justify selection of services through competitive pricing guidelines in conjunction with FAR and Serrato procurement policies.
• Verify terminology and specifications of purchase requests.
• Create statements of work for construction, services and supplies including bidding package.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates; award contract to best bid.
• Maintain purchase orders and research potential vendors in the system.
• Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of records and files.
• Address supplier late deliveries and coordinate corrective actions.
