Job summary

Det-Tronics, a Spectrum Safety Solutions company, seeks a Procurement Manager to lead a buyers team and transform procurement into a strategic advantage. You will partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Engineering, and Finance to ensure material readiness and mitigate supply risks as the business grows globally.

You will drive process improvements, talent development, and scalable procurement practices to improve inventory efficiency and overall performance in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years procurement, supply chain or materials management in manufacturing.
• 3+ years direct people leadership in procurement or supply chain teams.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supply chain risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of buyers to ensure material readiness and supplier performance.
• Mitigate supply disruptions and manage material shortages with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Own procurement cadence, meetings, and issue resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Align material strategies with demand, capacity, and growth plans.
• Optimize working capital through inventory planning and master data management.
• Drive process improvements across procurement systems and digital initiatives.
• Support new product introductions and global process harmonization.
