Job summary

Det-Tronics is seeking a Procurement Manager to transform procurement into a strategic function. Lead a team of buyers, partner with Planning, Engineering, and Finance, and drive supplier relationships, material readiness, and risk mitigation to support growth and operational excellence.

You will implement scalable processes, manage inventory planning, lead continuous improvement, and champion new product introductions while aligning with demand and capacity in a global manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of direct people leadership in procurement or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision making.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship management.
• Ability to work in person in a standard office environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of buyers to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary escalation point for supply disruptions and shortages.
• Own procurement cadence by facilitating buyer stand-up meetings and cross-functional reviews.
• Partner with Planning, SIOP, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align material strategies with demand and capacity.
• Manage inventory planning parameters and procurement master data.
• Lead procurement systems improvements and digitization initiatives.
• Support strategic initiatives including new product introductions and obsolescence reduction.
