Sprouts Farmers Market is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to develop category strategies and lead sourcing initiatives in Phoenix, AZ. This role works closely with stakeholders to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on indirect spend categories. The position offers a hybrid schedule and various employee benefits.
The Procurement Category Manager is responsible for developing and executing category strategies, leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and supporting contract negotiations across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories. Categories may include Corporate Services, Technology, Human Resources, Travel, Professional Services, Facilities, Marketing, Operations, and other Goods Not for Resale (GNFR) spend areas.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to deliver cost savings, mitigate risk, improve supplier performance, and support enterprise objectives. The Category Manager applies procurement best practices, including category management, strategic sourcing, RFx execution, contract management, supplier relationship management, spend analytics, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to maximize value across assigned categories.
Position reports into the Store Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid schedule Tuesday-Thursday.
