Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies across GNFR spend. You will lead end-to-end sourcing events, manage supplier relationships, and partner with Legal to finalize contracts, driving cost savings and risk mitigation.

The role reports to Store Support Office in Phoenix and follows a hybrid schedule Tue-Thu. The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, strong negotiation skills, and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 5-7 years in procurement or strategic sourcing and category management.
• Experience with indirect spend categories such as Technology, Corporate Services, Marketing, etc.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and sourcing tools (Ariba, Coupa, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with objectives.
• Manage spend categories and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Lead market assessments, supplier analysis, and category planning.
• Negotiate terms, SLAs, and contracts with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Legal and stakeholders to finalize agreements.
• Drive early procurement engagement in key projects.
